In NZ we have been awaiting an independent industry magazine for some time and now it has arrived.

For details on NZ’s new and only independent property mag check out http://www.goodreturns.co.nz/article.php?ArticleID=976488703

(No I have no financial interest or otherwise in this magazine – apart from being a paid advertiser in it)

I think KPI are their own worst enemy on this one. If they had run an unbiased and independent magazine in the first place, I doubt anyone else would have created another one. There is enough disgruntled people out there to make another one viable.

Its funny but some companies don’t understand the basics of how humans work!

There is a property investment forum in the UK which use to be run as an independent forum. Then the owner was offered some cash for the forum by a mortgage broker firm. The owner sold up and now the forum is owned and run by the firm. They give no mention of who owns the forum and is still stated as independant. However, if you post a question such as “who owns this forum?” the post will be removed in less time it takes you to make a cuppa! In fact if they do not like your post it will be deleted with no reasons why. The only way I found out who owned the forum is the the mortgage broker company had the forum as a link on their web site!

    Best Regards

    marc
