I’m just about to put in an offer on my first positvely geared property and have contacted my insurace broker about insurance…that is building, contents and landlords insurance.
He has recommended Lumleys and it will cost me $400 a year that’s insuring the building for $100,000, contence for 10,000 and landlords insurance covers theft, default for 14 weeks and malicious damage. Also includes 20mil public liability.
Does anyone have a better policy?
My insurance broker tells my no one will cover for vacancy.
