Hope this relevant, at least to me.

I think most of us are part time investors, so your job may bring in cashflow to help further investing.

I would like to know what you do for a living, that’s all.

    I’m in IT.

We all seem to think our jobs are “boring” … maybe that’s why we’re all on this forum during work hours? [:D]

Sports Journalist, I love my job!
But not enough money yet, my wife earns most of our income. Thats ok, because I spend my time writing, learning, and looking for property and opportunities!

I don’t know if I am bored at work, I just use the quite times in the morning and lunch time to have a look at what is going on. I am pretty addicted to the forum so sometimes that is hard.
Oh yeah I work in IT also as a sys admin/manager.

System Administrator – I work for a company that contracts to Navy Hydrographic Division.

It can be quite interesting and also a bit boring, I know i’d rather be financially free.

Also I’m 21 and bought by first property 2 yrs ago and looking to invest in IP’s. [8D]

Hi Guys, first time posting but have enjoyed viewing the forum posts for a couple of weeks now. I’m also in IT (for a large law firm in Melb.)

Like some of the other IT people here, I’m bored!!! and I want to live an extraordinary life.

Haven’t purchased any IP’s as yet, but I have just finished Steve’s book.

Look forward to chatting with you guys in the future.

Did 20+ years with the Air Force – now i’m a Police Emergency Communications Officer – never boring at work – I despatch the cars to their work via radio and answer the Police 000 calls – everyone talks to me when they’re having a really bad day[:(]. But i’d prefer to be doing something in property – just love bricks and morter. Have a great day. HG

Stay at home mum (13 month old) with a useless arts degree :) Most of my working life for past 10 years has been web development. Also a published author but we won’t go there.

Rather spend my days with baby and when time allows educate myself on methods other than PAYE to establish future financial security.

Partner is in IT and also bored :)

    Hi all,

Just found this forum, great stuff and a very polite online community…congrats.

I’m a share/futures trader, I love it, its fantastic but very lonely.

Property investment is a good way to get out of the house and meet some people.

Now if I can just figure out a way to short sell property……….

    Cheers

I work for the Government therefore I cannot join in and chat during work hours which means it takes me ages to reply to anybody cause I have to wait until I get home or have some free time.

The Government does not permit private email usage at work. Luckily today I am on a day off so can chat a bit and learn heaps off you guys.

    HI fellow property tycoons

Interesting to see backgrounds of forum contributors.

Im curious why there are no real estate agents or rental property managers.

    Cheers

I’m in IT as well. Software/Systems Engineer. Would like to be financially free. IT is all what it is cracked up to be especially in financial terms.
