    Hi,

Just a friendly reminder that this is a moderated forum.

We encourage a diverse range of opinions and are reluctant to delete or modify any post.

However, respect of other people is also a priority for us, which is why any post that we deem is irrelevant or not adding to the discussion will be subject to review.

If you are in doubt about making a post please email us at [email protected]

Oh, and if you make a post and notice that it has been deleted, take it as a guide that we deem your posts in breach of our conditions.

This forum exists as an information exchange – please treat it as such.

For the good of the forum, now might be a good time to overcome your natural reluctance, Admin !!!

I agree with Benny. Certain people have racked up around 126 posts (not naming and names) without actually adding anything to any conversation, while usually being a pain in the rear at the same time.

If you want an extraordinary life you have to be prepared to do things that ordinary people aren’t prepared to do.

    Hi there,
    PSYCH 101 [:D]
This is regarding the ‘psychology’ of posting, so to speak.
Perhaps in future, if someone is making themselves into a human flea on the forum, jumping from post to post, without contributing to the post itself, might I suggest you avoid responding to them.
Responses that would qualify as ‘positive reinforcement’ to this kind of behaviour are comments like ‘how clever’ or ‘how funny’ this person’s post is, and only makes them want more attention, thereby perpetuating the behaviour.
So let’s all work together to make things run smoothly, as these issues to come up from time to time.
I couldn’t delete as fast as he was posting [:P]. Thankfully the other moderators and admin stepped in [8D].
    What do you think?
    Just a thought
    Cheers
    Sooshie [:)]

Hi Shoosie, we all appreciated your efforts to “remove” the pest from the board. Hopefully he won’t be back or if he does he will contribute something meangingful. HG

    Hi there,

Thanks HG, I’d obviously deleted to many at one time and the computer froze.
The B did the hard slog!
    3 cheers to him!

Good morning, I’m off to bed. Son number 2’s asleep now.

The trick to dealing with trolls on a
forum like this is for the administrator
to have a setting which makes the pest’s
posts viewable by the pest only.

That way they don’t just register again
and come back because they never know
    that they have been banned.

To them it looks like they’re being ignored.
