I beleive you must be a licenced real estate agent to be a buyers agent. Check with your department of fair trading jsut in case.

Im studying real estate rep course for victoria and as far as i am aware, the following is needed to become an buyers agent ( which i am sure you would need a real estate licence for!)
    – Real estate agents reps course (through tafe im doing mine through benigo tafe for $200)
_ a years experience as a real estate rep ( also known as a sub agent)
    – and a c4 in real estate business studies or a ba of business specialising in real estate through RMIT.
If you need anymore help go http://www.reiv.com.au
    Hope this helps
