    Borrowering $100K (say) to earn $30-50 per week in income sounds very risky!!!! and then having hundreds of thousands of $$$ invested to make you financially indenpendent sounds even riskier !!

    Well, what’s the alternative… buying lotto tickets every week? Property’s great cos of the leveraging… and that 30-50 per week SHOULD increase over the long term of your buy and hold strategy.

    i agree garfield i wouldn’t borrow 100k to make 30-50pw. But i would borrow 30k to make 30-50pw, or 100k to make 100-150pw. And as Richmond said that return should increase over time.
