    If you have an IP in Broome WA and want a depreciation schedule drawn by a Quantity Surveyor let me know.

    A guy from Deppro in Perth will go up there if he has enough jobs to make the trip worth it.

    Please let me know on this forum if you need one up there or shoot me an email and I’ll pass on the details to him.

    email = [email protected]

    Cheers Brett

    p.s if anyone needs one in Karratha he is going up there again in a few weeks.

    Broome – beautifull place.
    Problem – very expensive. Don’t think you find anything there under 200K. Rent would be in around $200 per week mark but not enough to make positive geared property.There is a new estate north of Broome on the Cable beach and all houses are above $1 Million.
    Broome is a Byron Bay of West Coast Australia.

    Just bought a 3 bedder with a big pool there for $280k, rents for $370 per week in the suburb of Cable Beach.

    There has been 30% capital gain in Broome in the last 12 months and no signs of an easing up.

    Have to agree with K there. My brother built a house up there last year and the offers he is gettting have almost doubled what he spent on it. Awesome place to live though doubt it will ever slow down!

    Cheers

    I’m interested in the QS if he’s up this way!!

    So true tho, the prices do require a large outlay.

    A friend of mine bought an off the plan house in the suburb of Roebuck Estate 4 months ago for $255K. It has just been completed and has just been valued at $305K.

    The prices aren’t slowing yet and to be honest, I wouldn’t expect them to at least for another 6mths to a year..

    Cheers,
    Shell.
