    Hi,
I’ve been on the search for positive cashflow properties, and have found a 1 bedroom cabin for 47,000 and the agent says it brings in $140 pw rent. There’s no stamp duty or rates so on paper it looks like a great investment… does anyone know any down falls in owning a cabin (in a caravan park)?

My guess is that keeping tenants for a long period would be hard.

    thanks
    Simon

Yes, I was looking at a similiar type of investment the other day, and the returns looked great until it was revealed that out of $140 per week rent I wuold receive, I would have to pay $80 per week rental to the caravan site. Find out if that is the case with your prospective cabin and I would be curious to know if it is.
    regards
