    HELLO,

Can anyone tell me what it would cost for a general landlord insurance in all states for a comparison as i have found many different quotes. Eg loss of rent from absconding tennents, court eviction,Malicious damage Prevention of Access Failure to give Vacant possesion , due to death of sole tenant, Tenent hardship, Legall liability.

Is this insurance seperate to building insurance?
And if not what would you expect to pay?

Thanks any help would be appreciated.

You can get comprehensive Landlords inaurance from a few insurers. It covers the buildings, some contents (carpet, curtains etc) loss of rent and tenant damage.

Suncorp, NRMA and CGU offer this insurance not sure what the rates are but give them a call and they will fill you in.
