My partner and I have relocated from Sydney to Brisbane, and want to get into property renovation. I am a tradesman, have spent the last 12 years on reno sites so I know quite a bit. What I dont know about, is council stuff.
How much can you do without getting council approval?
How easy is it to subdivide? Costs? time?
Can you build a second residance without subdividing? What kind of returns can we expect?
Also, anyone in Brisbane interested in forming a partnership? We need help with finance.
