I am about to move from Sydney to Perth, maybe early next year. My question is do I sell my property here, no mortgage, in Winmalee (Blue Mountains) and buy a house and the take out an IO loan for one or two properties in Perth or do I keep the house here and borrow to purchase a residence in Perth and negative gear it against the Sydney house.

I am new to this game so I would welcome any advice.

    Cheers,
    Boothy

Are you planning, or is there any chance you will come back to live in your house in Sydney?

    Morning Terry,
We intend moving permanently to Perth hopefully around the Como area. I am not sure which is the better way to go, keeping Sydney or buying something as investment in Perth when we get there.
