I have tried local builders who are giving prices which are in the stratosphere ie $1800m2 instead of around $800-$1000maximum. In this town it is a closed shop for construction works.
In Sydney I can get most builders between $900-$1000, but few seem willing to travel.
I have advertised in regional newspapers to try and get out of town builders however this has not been very successful. this has been going on for 6 months. after a long time and many thousands of dollars in plan printing and postage I have yet to appoint a builder.
What suggestions can you give?
How to obtain the builder for the right price?
Make sure he is able to get Home Warranty Insurance?
Is it true that developers now need to obtain Home Warranty Insurance back to back with the Builder?
