I have a friend with a Tassie property worth 150K.
He’s wanting to get in touch with a quantity surveyor to assess the property for 2.5% Building allowance and chattels depreciation but he’s hitting his head against the wall because,so far, Tasmanians dont seem to know what a QS report is.
Does anyone have a good contact in the Hobart Area?

    Hi Michael,

    Do you invest in Tassie?

If so, do you recommend any areas where rental yield of 12% plus is achievable?
I have been looking for weeks now around the coastline as these are my preferred areas.

    Thanks,
    Mannie.
