In a nut shell this has nothing to do with the deal, but everything to do with the investor. If the investors context is closed to the idea of positive cash flow it will never work for them. Focusing on the negitives will in most cases bring life to these thoughts and confirm your fears.
I suggest to anyone who is having trouble thinking positively or lacking motivation (in any aspect of life) have a read of “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.

To all the scientific people out there here is how the above works, I had this explained to me by mind person (physch?, one of them).Your brain has a thing called a reticular activating system, it’s purpose in life is to filter out unwanted things so it acts as a filter. So when you have say set a goal or cemented a thought it will focus on that. It basically works like, if you have just purchased a red commodore, all of a sudden you start noticing all the red commodores around. Things are treated like in the same way as ideas or attitudes. So if you have a negative thought you will see only negative thoughts,or positive if you have been thinking positive, your choice. The trick is to think about what you want so you get a chance at seeing the opportunity to get it.
This is how goal setting actually works, by writing down what you want, you show commitment to yourself for example.
So if someone is just seeing negative, that is usually because that is all they have set their mind to filter through.
