I have 9 years old Alaskan Malamute “Wolfka”, got him from dog pan 7 years ago. He talks, does not bark but likes to haul around 1 am (not very popular with neighbours).I attached remote control door-bell on his colar and ding-dong him from bed each time when he decides to have go with his “night singing”.

PS. I’m kind of fond of them too!

My husband is from Ghana (west Africa) and he remembers going hunting with his uncle’s pack of basenjis. Somebody else said they are totally up themselves – how very true. Unless they love you completely you cannot get them to do anything. Food absolutely does not work as a training tool! But if you are looking for personality plus in a pet, they are ideal. No smell, no shedding, no barking, very affectionate if they like you but absolutely no road sense – the cars are supposed to get out of their way.

Property People Prefer Cats to Dogs? hmmmmmm maybe not in my case! I think if pets where property I’d be the wealthiest steak holder here…

    I have 4 cats and 2 dogs

Cat 1.) Ally (short for Allisyum meaning little flower, she use to sleep in the allisyum) Aged 11 and a real royal snob.

Cat 2.) Angel (devil in a cat suit what more can I say!) Aged 9 and a real hudini!

Cat 3.) T.C (the Tom cat of the family and a real hussler, although he is a real mummy’s boy) aged 8 fat and full of love!

Cat 4.) Pixie (T.C twin sister, 3kg lil darlin a real smooch too.. all laps at my house are reserved by her, although she hasnt worked out how to sit on 2 at the same time yet! but give her time) aged 8 hand raised with her brother by me from the age of 2 weeks.

Dog 1.) Nettie (short for Eternity – she came with the tacky name but is an eating machine on legs.) Kelpie X terrier aged 3

Dog 2) Jaxon (the munkey – small buff and fast, ready to chew what ever is laying around, has particular taste for Freshly purchased brand name sports footware. this dog aint cheap to feed *laughs*) chiauauaha x tenterfield aged 11months.

Who needs kids when you have this farm! but they love me!

    Can anyone beat me?????????

I have Standard Schnauzers. Oldest is ‘Tina’ short for Martina. Next is ‘Ruby’, short for Bayvista Just A Gem. Then there is Kissy, short for ‘Kzmiferilidlbut’ (say it slow and you will get it[biggrin]). Next is ‘Megen’, short for Schmiegen (German for cuddle). Then there is Nitro which is his full name unless you want the full Australian Champion Schnappy Nitro. Last of all is ‘Stewy’, short for Stewart Little.

Nitro and Megen have just had 10 black puppies (5 girls and 5 boys). Anyone got some suggestions of names for the pedigree registrations???[idea]

    Cheers Brenda[biggrin]

I used to have two fish when we lived in England. Their names we Marcus O’Fisheus and Maximus O’Scaleus.

I think I have already posted my dogs names but I’ll say it again.

Buddy- a West HighlandXMaltese scruff-5 years old.
    Buzz- a hyper Jack RusselxDaschund-nearly 1yr old.

At my mum’s house lives an old cat that kinda used to be mine. She is 21 this year! She still looks like she is in her prime!
