The man has the hiccups and wants the water to get rid of them. The bartender scares him with the gun so he dosn’t need the water anymore.

Had to really search the memory banks for that one!!

Ok, an oldie. What is the biggest number you can form using two numbers (using two real digits only).

Like the way you think but not the answer I had in mind. The answer is a real number and not infinty.

    (using two real digits only).

it’s either got to be two or eleven (using your fingers as the ‘digits’) unless you have double jointed fingers….

Nope, think less laterally in this case. Pretty poor one anyway! Will just give an answer if you like. Try the next one though.

“Lying there in the yard so neat was something very good to eat. It had neither flesh not bone, but in 21 days it walked alone. What is it?”

okay well then if less laterally the answer must be 99…

the answer to the next one is:

an egg (from memory i think that’s right)

    okay another riddle:

    Ridlle no 8.

A police man was walking home when he heard a voice scream from a house “No John, No!” followed by a single gun shot. He ran to the house and saw a lawyer, a doctor and a priest standing over a body. He immediately arrested the priest for murder. Why?

I really like this one and must admit that I will never get the answer correct unless I guess 52 times.

OK, yes or no question, do we assume that he will die immediately after opening the door?
