    Peter Sellers was a ‘Goon’. Also, Geoffrey Rush has just finished filming the life of Peter Sellers. Rush seems to have such a malleable face. Trotsky in ‘Frieda’, etc.

    Hi se7en,
    You’re spot on. The other actor along with Rip Torn was Bruce Dern. Apparently Dennis Hopper and Nicholson smoked over 150 joints during the camp fire scene (bit hard to believe). Nicholson was asked to go down and see how the film was progressing as Hopper was off his head on trips. Nicholson joined as a small part playing the local alcoholic lawyer who goes for a ride with them when they all get out of jail. Nicholson’s character was called George Hanson.

    Yes, Trigger was Roy Rogers’ horse. Tonto’s was called Scout (as in “Git-em up Scout”).
