    http://www.commbank.com.au/propertyvalueguide/

Unfortunately, I can’t check this out myself because my java is dead, but it was mentioned on Channel 10 News tonight and it’s a new feature on the C’Wealth Banks’ webpage.

    Hi Kay,

I prefer to use http://www.quartile.com.au – they also have a similar service – and they said that my property was worth 35% more than the Commonwealth Bank. [biggrin]

Quartile’s website has the ability for you to enter current value and merges this detail with sales analysis in the area.

I checked the area where I live and found the data quite unrealistic! I bought one IP there at median price. If the median price is correct then I am $100k richer than I thought….LoL

    Kind regards

Mr Chan, an article associated with this Commonwealth bank property value guide says:

“The Commonwealth Bank Property Value Guide is based on new loans and on valuations conducted by the bank when customers refinance loans.”

    http://smh.com.au/articles/2004/05/06/1083635285152.html

As with all of these guides, I find them *indicative* but not definitive. hehe, Not that I can even check it out, because my computer is so messy!

Chan, probably the funnest thing is to find which guide gives me the highest values, and then see that one as the truth!

The best way to find out the true is SALE SALE SALE SALE! if you don’t sale then you don’t know the true value.
