    Hey

Looking for some help with my SMSF. I have setup my smsf with esuperfund online and its all going pretty well. I am keen to purchase an NRAS house and land package into my smsf.

I am now struggling with how to get it done. I have had conflicting advice about how it can or cannot be done. I do know that it can be done and is being done, I just cant seem to find someone that can help me that isnt looking to setup and manage my SMSF or charge me a fortune in comissions to purchase one of their house and land packages. I have found the perfect investment for me, I just need the advice around the technical side of getting finance for the purchase of the land and the drawdowns for the construction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Joe

    Hi Joe,

I would advise that you speak to an accountant that has knowledge of SMSF rules and regulations. You will have to pay to see someone, but they won't try and flog you a house and land package or a new trust deed.

    Hi Joe

Purchasing a House and Land package in a SMSF can certainly be done but constructing a property cannot.

As for buying an NRAS property not an issue.

    Cheers

Good timing for you, I have only been back on this site for 2 minutes (busy for several months). I have completed many of these for clients in recent times. In fact the office I currently lease is owned by my own SMSF.

I am happy to discuss further- I am at Norwest Business Park, NSW.
