    Hi,

We’ll see what we can do to restore the history.

I’ll check the unread posts Terry.

We had to make this move as the site had expired its life on the old platform.

There is another look and feel happening – a major, major upgrade – that is about 3 to 4 months away from going live.

Not a lot at this point. The 'active topics since last visit' option appears to have gone awol, plus I have been 'demoted' to around half of my forum posts.  I bet Terry has had them added onto his………Still, sometimes I don't feel very important anyway …..It is a bit harder to navigate, but I guess we'll see how used to it we get.  Can always go elswhere I guess….

I lost over 160 posts on the forum. I am back to "New Member" status.

    Hi all,
Im only a nubee but still wanna throw my 2 cents in, The web page is alot faster to browse through than last time wich is excellent, simple and effective like all wepages should be. I am a web designer my self and was just wondering what platform you are using? Also just a quick thanks to Steve and Dave, I have been following your seminars and books for a couple years now and just begining to get the swing of things and really enjoying the joys and pains of property investing.

    Cheers

I think it's great! very fast and now on par with sommersoft in terms of ease of use. I would recomend having a feature where you could touch the posts with the cursor and get an overview of the topic without having to click on them.

what happened to my posts though?

why are the signatures not displayed?

    Other than that, well done!!!

Steve – I like the speed of the new site, because it was getting very slow before. I don't mind not seeing how many people read the posts, because it is the replies that I am interested in.

    thanks

I miss being able to click on "recent posts" rather than have to go into each area individually. Is the feature still here or is it gone?

Maybe this is what everyone else said, but I can't figure out where you can go to see the forums that have been recently replied to. It just seems to organise them according to when they were created. I liked this feature because popular topics would keep bouncing back up on your screen.

I am loving the speed!  But I can't find where to search the forums… could someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Hi Guys,

The post count problem has been fixed and we are working on implementing an equivalent to the old "New Posts" system.

Lisa, you can search the forums (and the rest of the site) by using the search box at the top right of every page. This will take you to the search results page where you can also redefine your search parameters to help you even further.

The upgrade was a major platform transition, the next one will be focused more on design, functionality and usability . Please bear with us as we iron out the bugs.

Any comments/suggestions you have in the mean time are very welcome.

    Hi all,

can anyone advise where to check on your own history of posts? I would like to find mine to see if there's been any replies but are a bit lost at this present point in time.

    Yep speed is definaitely great.

Is there any chance that 'Active Topics' could be arranged by topic? I think it was before…

Just helped to break it all up a bit so you could look in sections you chose to, instead of having to scroll all trhough.

    Many thanks

Looks like we all miss this feature, but explain it a bit differently. What do you reckon Steve? Can you give us back that Active Forum search option, with posts since last visit, and show who has posted? Could be perfecto with that done (almost!)

Hi guys,By clicking the Active Topics "More Topics" link [link removed as it is outdated] it will show all topics sorted by the last post date. If you want to sort by topic creation date, simply click the row heading "Created" twice. I'm not sure which is the preferred option, or if we should just make a seperate page for both sort methods.Maybe we should take a vote? – David

Can we still subscribe to topics?

Yes you can. Just click the subscribe post button under the first post in any topic. You can maintain your subscriptions from the "My Subscriptions" link in your user block to the right of the screen. You can also subscribe to whole forum categories from that link.
