    Hi ya,

After a fair bit or pondering and research I’m making my way to Brisbane on the second week on Sept to have a look at few H&L packages to take on as my first IP. Now I’m managed to shorten my list to Morayfield, Springfield Lakes or Ormeau (my budget being max of 360K all cost incl).

Now all three suburbs have decent rating on the Residex report and all three have something going for em in the form of infrastructure, rental demand etc.

Can I get a finally flurry of post on these suburbs please. I’m pretty positive I’ll be buying when I’m in Brisbane or as soon as I return and if I can be given some local insight into these area’s prior to my visit it would be most useful.

All comment are welcome….so…let the posts begin.

    Cheers

I have a property in Mango Hill (Northlakes estate). I bought the land and got a builder to contruct a 4x bedder for me. I also use to own a property in Deception Bay.

I think you will do well out of Morayfield because the ripple effect of price rises is pushing up from Brisbane and down from Caloundra/Maroochydore.

I would not discount areas close to Northlakes eg: Halpine Lakes- They are slightly lagging behind in price but are still close to the new Westfields and all of the other infrastructure of Northlakes such as, Golf course, Recreation Centre, new Schools etc.

All the best, I hope you find something that you like.
