    I am not sure how members may take this question, as it may be a bit too personal, but it would be interesting to see in what price range some members are willing to stretch to.
    So the question is… What is the most expensive property you have invested in (whether using equity, or borrowing, or a combination of both). This may be residential or Commercial. It does not have to be positvely geared. If its too personal, then admins may delete this post.

    OK… no responses..
    Well since I started the thread, I think its appropriate I give my answer.
    I purchased 850,000 a few weeks ago (borrowed 500,000). It was residential and is now rented at $1,050 per week.

    163k for me but its my second property and i am only 21. Took alot of negiociating with Westpac to get it over the line.

    Some young guy is paying $140p/w for it.

    4th property in just over 2 yrs. Paid 285K for it, thats 79K higher than previous highest. What can i say, i’m a cheap bastard. [strum]
