Just wanted to say, thanks to EVERY single member of this forum who makes their presence felt. You collectively have had such a profound effect on my property investing life. Especially at the beginning when I literally didn’t have anybody to talk to about property investing in my ‘real life’. No matter whether we agree or disagree, it all helped in my understanding of property investing and the fine-tuning of my strategy.
Here’s to another year and another 4 properties (according to my self-imposed schedule!)
But best of all thanks to Steve who along with Dave enabled a light switch to go on inside my head (even though my head was swimming and overloaded with unfamiliar jargon, numbers, and facts which took me a good year to completely get my head around – ) and not only gave me the knowledge but the kick up the backside and propelled me out of fear and analysis paralysis into action. Which by following their strategy (to be precise, the one called ‘Dave’s no-brainer’ which is a ‘buy and hold, repeat formula’ as long as you want’ strategy -) basically turned my financial life around completely in one short year.
From zero to four properties in a year (in two countries, wahey!) is by no means gonna win me any medals compared to some people around here but *for me* – compared to MYSELF and where I was – it’s been completely huge.

I am seriously goiung to go on an avatar campaign where I nag everyone to get an avatar until they get one to get rid of me Seriously, Mini- your posts are always enjoyable, and it doesn’t matter on here whether people agree or disagree with anyone. I think the thing is, when we agree, we usually don’t post to say so, so it’s usually the disagreements that become more visible.
Anyhoo- it’s a milestone for you in posts and a milestone in property!

well done on the 1000 posts, thanks for you huge contribution to the forum. mini it is not the number of posts that you have made that raises your stature here on the forum but the quality of those posts. While some, no names (i won’t even mention Chan, Property guru or sis)[exhappy] have run amuke on the forum fun you have continued to deal with the topic at hand, property. Your contibution to the forum is sharing you knowledge and experience has been tremendous. At times it has not been easy contibuting to the form especially when you were attacked for rightfully challenging the conduct of some forum contributors [medieval], thanks for sticking with the forum.

Congrats on your 1000 posts, i enjoy reading your posts and comments.Thanks for putting me in contact with DD ( i see he has joined the forum now, great stuff )his knowledge has been very helpful and we have changed our thinking a little.With his help we now have a contract on our first investment property, only a 2 bed unit but we have to start somewhere.
