    Blondie Bec,
As the mental image of your embrassing moment sinks it, it just gets funnier and funnier, i now have tears rolling down my face. The discription of the safari suited dude is side splitting…or where your dad’s concerned, something else splitting!!

Hi Rob, you wouldn’t attemp to do dangerous electrical work if you weren’t qualfied to do it….so….[buz2] We get our solicitor to write up our contracts. Easy as that.
We also do credit checks on the applicants using Baycorp Advanage. And we meet with them and sound them out. This isn’t as labour intensive as it sounds , however we don’t do 30 wraps a month like the big boys do!!

Resiwealth, are you part of the KKK, because you seem very intolerant of everyone who doesn’t have the same opinion as you.
Look if you don’t like the question…don’t answer it. People here are learning…i know you are past learning and know it all, but maybe you and your book should start your own forum for those who resemble eggs that is ‘full of themselves’

You just don’t get it ……

It’s hard to say ‘no’ to little Johnny when you know you have the money to spend on his brand new electric gituar. However by teaching the value of saving (no matter how hard it is for them, and you) you are proving them with a neverending form of gaining wealth through delayed gratification. We also teach our children to always give 10% of their income (first and foremost)to a charity of some sort.It makes them focus on the bigger picture.

    Thanks Treey & Richard,
Is there any way around this ie to get access to the FHOG sooner. The FHOG rules must make wrapping not all that popular in QLD !

    Nice one Mini…love your phrases..
I’m using.’whatever floats yer boat’ at every opportunity I get. I will endeavour to manipulate all future conversations to include ‘bling-bling’

As for the op shop smell..yes i’ts an occupational hazard.
My mum won’t go into op shops she says they smell like dead people (matching your reference to goverment employees), you forgot big double-ya!

I use to subscribe to a share trading website that was $500.00 a year. When i discovered this site (and the quality of info) i was stunned that it was free!!

Everyone here is so giving when it comes to info, it has truely helped me on my journey, not just investing but life also.

To all you Op Shop bashers out there…
Opshopping is an art. And a mild addiction. My sister and i can get to one and go through it like a plague of locusts. All my children wear desinger surf brands and nike, vans etc footwear. T-shirts that retail for $60.00 i buy at the oppie for 0.60c – $2.00. shoes for a couple of bucks too. Please to all you people who don’t want to deny your childern anything, continue to buy your kids the $100.00 quicksilver duds. I’ll be buying them next year for a dollar and they will still be in fashion.
Oh my boys also have top of the range mountain bikes and motor bikes (which actually work) all scavanged from the tip (legally)!

Now mummy and daddy can afford to buy those twenty houses they need to generate their passive income…SIMPLE!!

    OH!
    Mini – define Bling-bling

    Dearest RW

You are spot on!, i am endeavouring to make money by investing in property etc.

The title of this thread is very interesting.
How Rich do you want to be
I was born in a third world country, I shared a single bed with my five brothers and sisters,we lived in houses where if it was a windy day, the roof would simply blow right off the house. During this time, i use to lie in bed thinking how fantastically rich we were. When we arrived in Australia, we were flabbergasted at the extreme and blatant excess of wealth. Kids had their own beds, some had their own ROOMS!!. Every house had it’s OWN toilet.(You get the message?)
So you see, My response to your question comes from what i have experienced in my life. And at no time did i ever think i was ‘poor’ although in most peoples eyes our outward circumstances indicated that we were!

There is more poverty with out money than with it

Some people would argue that it is not the lack of funds that causes poverty but the lack of love and integrity.Open up any ‘Who Weekly’ and you’ll see what i mean.

PS. I just loved being called ‘people like you’ it means i’m a tad different
