    The application will need to be changed to the new employer as the original variation was a directive to the old employer issued by the ATO. The new employer will only tax you at the normal set rate until such time they receive a directive from the ATO. Can you imagine people seeking a tax variation without correct paperwork.

    I used Sondergaard in Osborne Park as a WA Accountant, they knew alot about IP and other Tax solutions.

    Hi Matt,

    At the start of the conversation did they inform you that they were going to record your conversation, if they did then you can apply to the Privacy Act for a copy of the recordings and you consented. If you want to record anyone you must advise them that you are going to record them and not to start until you get their permission. If on the other hand you replay to another person what you have heard or spoken about then you are breaking the law as it constitutes "Third Party" traffic.

    Another place to call would be http://www.acma.gov.au as they would have guidelines as well. Hope this helps.

    Best idea is ti check out http://www.realestate.com.au and see what the rents are in the area you are buying in and that will give you an idea how much to charge. If you charge too much then it is more likely the place will be vacant alot, if too cheap then you may have to contribute etc…
