I think the timbers may be there as a base to mount gyprock. The damage is old termite damage. They pulled gyprock off so who knows what’s under there. Shouldn’t make a difference in regard to their claim though I believe.

There is no paperwork for anything and they didnt even check the roof space, electrical appliances, inside cupboards and more.
