<p>Liverpool &#8211; European Culture Capital of 2008.<br />
Terrace houses around £50k.  Yield 6% &#8211; 15%.</p>
<p>Leeds.  Nice University town.  Yields slightly lower, but still a great buy.</p>

<p>Try this out to see what sort of mortgages are available to non residents for &#8220;buy to let&#8221; properties in the UK:</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t believe the UK buy-to-let mortgage market is as sophisticated as in Australia, but there seem to be many more positiely cash flow yielding properties over here.</p>
