    Had a similar problem with a property in Tas.
    PM went on leave, nobody in dept checked on rent.
    Statement came in, 5 weeks behind in rent. PM returned admitted liability (wouldn’t like to be in dept when she came back) and suggested I ring the principle.Principle suggested I claim on insurance, I asked why as it was his negligence and he should pay. After a bit of tooing and froeng he agreed. Got full rent arrears plus some damage that the tenant had caused.
    Tenant was evicted .
    At least I have a PM who takes her job seriously

    I have properties in Pooraka, 9km from city, adjacent technology park, uni sa, Mawson Lakes, also in Salisbury North and Davoren Park, both housing trust areas undergoing major redevelopment. Prices and returns are good and all areas in the North are close to Port Adelaide with the ships and Edinborough Park, a new industrial area.
    From my experience the North is the place to be.
