You would only do the renovation if this is the case. And generally this is one of the reasons for doing renovations. Your rental yield should incerase.</p>

<p>The block is zoned high density and I will demolish and develop within 10 years. To avoid over capitalizing, the renovation will need to be cheap/affordable (or in other words, temporary).<br />
Note that at the moment I don&#8217;t consider the units to be habitable.</p>
