If you’re having trouble with Brizzy (or QLD in general) brokers, go to the net. There are hundreds of good finance deals out there!!!!

R/Est agents are No.1 interested in their commission (What’s in it for me). The commission for them wont be much different if a property is sold 30T up or down etc. They will quote a higher figure to appease the vendor. It gets back to always offer BELOW their LOWEST price – wait for bites – DO NOT budge!!!!

I’d have to disagree with RICHMOND. The role of this forum should be to share ideas, not to give p/maternalistic advice. there a lot of ways to learn about property. If your finances are low, then look at your library network. If your finances are moderate, then visit your bookshop, and buy up! And if your finances are really good, then visit seminars. And you may well ask if the info quality is different at the 3 levels – you may find what youre looking for at the library!!!!!!

I can understand the demand for split forums. In the face of increasing demand, though, I reckon there should just be ONE general forum. The smaller forums (and topics) alwatys miss out.

Amit, I can understand your misgivings. But if you’d care to read my contributions and not just criticise, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Number 1 rule in Negotiation is :Let the other side put their position first. From there you can frame the price. IE Always make very very low offers!!

I’d have to disagree!! The system was set up not for our benefit in the first place. Our ONLY goal is to make money out of it, not to worry who makes money from our activity into the marjet. Sorry to be so stark, but the facts……

You’ll always have trouble , but there’ll be someone who’ll lend you the finance (as long as : 1.you have a good credit record: 2. you can show them the ndeal is a good one: and 3. you give them a history of your goood investing.)
