Thank you Terry and Cattleya both for taking the time to help me.

Sounds like I need to get a good accountant that can look into these things for me. Do either of you or anyone else out there know of a good accountant that is into the positive cashflow mindset in Melbourne? Also I’m after a good conveyancer/solicitor if you could recommend any that would be an great help.

Hi JJ10,

I built in Gladstone and used Handovers.com. I would have to check my emails as it was over 2 years ago, but I think the gentelmens name was Paul. He did a fantastic job, his report was very detailed and included photos. I also used him to do a second inspection to make sure all his issues were rectified and he did a great. All the expenses for me were tax deductable. From my experience he was well worth the cost.
