Bonus points for the double twist!!!

I think a newbie area is a good idea and I think you will find a newbie area included in the near future. I am sure if I start ball-busting Steve like I normally do, he will give in eventually!!! Some help from others may mean this happens sooner. I am very persistent!

I am also adamant that it not be…[Read more]

    9. The ‘soap box’ post.

Thinking about the ongoing criticism of newbies made me think of school. What the newbie critics here are saying is that the repetitive nature of some of the questions here are a problem.

I know that when I went to primary school, I asked the teacher what 5 X 7 totalled. I imagine my kids would ask the same question. It…[Read more]

Ok. You were referring to price. I thought ‘Middle Earth’ had revolutionised their risk weightings for commercial and residential properties for a second there.

I guess this refers to me.

The main problem I find with SS locals is that they only know of three types of posts.

    1. The ‘yes man’ post which they cherish and adore.
    2. The ‘suck up but disagree’ post which keeps their egos in tact.

When you say “entry point is far higher”, are you suggesting you can borrow MORE for a blue chip commercial property or LESS than for a residential property?

As much as I am not a fan of wrapping, I must agree with the Pelican boy. It is clearly fraud but I am certain there will be adverse repurcussions for wrappers especially when the media misinterprets events and blows it out of all proportion.

See what I mean??? I did answer.

I thought the issue of money being taxed in other countries could be a problem and the fact of foreign ownership of land. Also, prices being driven up through demand would make purchasing property more difficult for US residents.

Finally, (initial capital injection aside as it will be taken back later in addition…[Read more]
