actually mini, I’m very much thumbs up about property… and I’m not important at all… just a worker.

I’d like people to lose interest in property, cos then prices should ease (it won’t be so inflated), and there might be some better buys around.

what possible reason would there be to not reveal who a person uses as an accountant?

so what happens if your bottles of alcohol aren’t given to the tenants of the IP, how do you prove that you’ve given them, or anything else for that matter, if the ATO comes a’knockin? It’d be pretty hard I would have thought. It’s well and good to claim these things on one hand, but proving that the actual gift-giving has taken place is another.

so basically if I buy gifts ie sex toys, alcohol for Christmas, give them to my friends/family, but keep the receipts and say I gave them to my property manager/accountant/tenant, then I’d be able to claim them? I don’t know that I would feel comfortable doing that… Is that what you do?

SIS, do you ever intend to pay HECS? If you don’t, then to me that’s the same as people rorting the FHOG, or getting the dole when they shouldn’t. I remember there was a guy on here who was happily claiming to be unemployed, whilst investing in property. I’m buggered if I knew how he did it.
