<p>I think&#8230;make the screens yourself is the best option.  Easy to do, a skill you will use many times over in your life.</p>
<p>Screens also keep out annoying cat, which recalcitrant daughter owns, so I LOVE screens.</p>

<p>Internet is extra, as is phonecalls.  She also has a phone in her room.</p>

<p>You should find out if someone wants to remove the palm and relocate it.  Depending on what sort of palm it is, they can be worth big bucks.</p>
<p>Not sure who does this, perhaps a google search.</p>
<p>Palms have a small rootball, so can be dug up.</p>
<p>Something for you to think about.</p>
<p>Cant imagine it being a fire risk.</p>
