Recommend reading “Confessions of a Real Estate Agent” if ou want more information about how real estate salespeople think and work.

    I’m in the industry[:I],but not a saleperson[:)]

I dont think Neil Jenman’s system is any good, as it is partcuarily hypocritical, (he says that agents should sell properties and not rent them, but alot of his bigger offices have rental rolls)

He tends to prey on the ‘poor me’ people, and tends to hold regular seminars in these areas.

People are screened on entry and agents from other offices are not allowed to enter (probably because they would ask questions-and he does’nt want that now does he??)

You gotta remember that Jenman is a salesperson too, agents have to pay to be ‘Jenman Approved’, and as an agent you gotta get something for your money, which is why he has published a book and tends to be in the media alot.

Why he calls himself a ‘real estate advocate’ I’m yet to find out. His background is relatively guarded too.

    Hopes this helps.[;)]

Depends what state you are in, but most likely, YES!!!!

Be very carefull with this one.

If the first offer is not subject to anything, then they definately can sure you unless they default themselves. Thats the whole point of having a contract.

If the offer is subject to conditions, eg, finance, and there is an expiry date on the finance clause, and they do not perform, (ie, finance approval from their lender has not come in) then you may be able to refuse and extension of finance request. It really all depends on so many variables, like how the contract is written up in the first place. Speak to your solicitor.

    Good Luck with it.

    ATT: BEANCOUNTER!!

in answer to your statement about there not being any real estate agents or property managers on the site, guess what!!![:P] I’m 27 and located in Cranbourne Vic.

Brought first property at 19 and never looked back.

Now only working part-time and spend the rest of my time painting, cleaning and doing all those lovely landlord duties!!

Spend spare time hunting up the next purchase.

Consider myself very well debt leveraged, (If I sold one propety, I would own another 3 outright) and am fairly strict on my buying criteria.

Oh, and before you ask, no, I did’not win tattslotto, nor was I given anything other than some encouragement to get on my way!

In fact I had heaps of trouble getting loans in the begining considering my age and most likely my sex (believe it or not I was told to bring my husband in to speak to him. When I told him I was not married, he said bring in your parents!)[:(!]

My motto now is: “You can help me, but you can’t stop me!!”
