    Consumer Confidence
The Conference Board maintains this index of consumer sentiment based on monthly interviews with 5,000 households. After hitting historical highs last summer, the index has been falling.

Failing that… we should all probably ask you!

Anyway, I think you should get over BigCharts. I do not subscribe or pay for their product. As I said in my initial post about it, I look at that chart for all of abou 3 seconds to see if the chart and volumes traded fit in with what I would like to do as part of my overall decision process. I am not stupid enough to make decisions based solely on charts.

Again I have to say, out of everything I have written, you have only been able to come up with a misinterpreted comment about BigCharts. If you want some ammo, just ask me. It is getting old.

Yes we see the error of our ways. We have now all sold our software on ebay and have moved to using BigCharts…

It is interesting that you talk about it as if it is ‘YOUR’ group and in another post you wrote that you have not done property research for 7 months. I guess the Sydney Investing Group has not done anything regarding property in 7 months then. In that case, it is of no use to me.

There are others in the group whose complete focus is property… Others choose developing their business as their main focus. It is a personal choice which investment vehicle is chosen in order to maximize return.

Things have changed in recent days and it looks like I will be too busy to attend groups such as ‘YOURS’ anyway.

    Is that a statement?

I wish you and ‘YOUR’ group all the best and hope you do at least some property research in the very near future before investing in property. A little tip – it is a buyers market at the moment and your lack of property reasearch is resulting in you missing out on a LOT of opportunities.

Thanks for your concern and this tip will be noted and passed on in the meeting.

The report is being looked at in two different lights. First, traders want to see that the economy is growing and that jobs are being added. A stronger jobs market creates a stronger economy, adding to spending and the overall GDP. The other issue is the Fed, which recently hurt stocks after the release of the FOMC minutes from December. The FOMC is likely to take out the phrase “measured pace” in the next meeting and this is a prelude to more aggressive rate hikes. Today’s data did little to change the Fed view, though it does provide data that wage pressures are light and the economy doesn’t seem to be overheating.

$42,000 gross income per annum is only an 8.7% return (approx). Many people would probably find this too low a return for the risk of commercial property.

Start with family and friends (likeminded ones!) and then if worst comes to worst, I’m sure someone in this forum would consider it!

White Knights are always on a mission. They see themselves as the keepers of
the solemn, pure goals. They enjoy working with others to have a positive
impact on the lives of others. They are highly dedicated and principled members
of the team. They tend to be the source of moral authority or righteous power.
They stand on principles and will fight to uphold their noble ideals. They find
themselves in roles where they can stand on the ramparts and encourage others to
join them in fighting the good fight. White Knights need recognition for their
efforts, even though they maintain that they do not. If they do not receive the
praise they need, they tend to gravitate toward the martyr¹s role. White
Knights can become sometimes become embroiled in the emotional factors of their
decisions and they might tend to make quick, sometime rash decisions based on
    their feelings.
