    Hi Aussie

To answer your question is easy:
either the the South Afriacans are going faster or the Aussies and the Yanks are going slower.

    Hi No1

    For depreciation schedules try the official IRD site;
    http://www.ird.govt.nz/library/publications/geninfo/ir292.pdf

Depreciation schedules are under review by the IRD and will change within two years.

For depreciating chattels there is one company that I use. They can be found at this site:

Muppet when are “US” New Zealanders going to win a medal ????

When the events that require either sitting down or being in the saddle(and I don’t mean sex) finish.
By that I mean yachting, rowing, cycling and horse riding.

Half the NZ Olympic Team is made up of people from 4 teams-2 hockey teams and 2 basketball teams.
Is there an Australian Men’s Basketball team?

Now as regards the girls who went crab fishing instead of rowing and feel out of their boat, well at least they were able to get back in and finish the race. And they will get a second chance.

Not like the Australian America’s Cup yacht that sank into 1000ft of water.

Now as regards rugby at the Olympics. The USA won the last Olympic Gold medal way back in 1924. NZ didn’t have a team at those games.
    Rugby was dropped soon after.
But I see that Rugby Seven’s may be added in the future.

    Hi Guys

    Springboks 40 All Blacks 26.

Oh well I wasn’t too far away at 32-23.

Watch out Wallabees. The Boks are running hot and can see the Triple Crown.

At least the All Blacks still have the Bledisloe Cup.

    Hi Darrin

You take the rent multiply by 52 and divide by the cost of the house. This gives you the gross yield.
What you are aiming for is a gross yield of 10.4%
    eg 150*52/75000=10.4% gross yield.

Also masquerades as the 11 sec rule. Take the rent, divide by 2, multiply by 1000 and that is what you should pay for the house to give you a gross yield of 10.4%.
    eg 150 divided by 2, multiplied by 1000 = $75000

Anyway someone may come up with a better explanation.

Also refer to Steve’s book “From 0 to 130 properties in 3.5 Years” p/30-34 where he explains when to use it.

Oh dear. Has Jetdollars been too fast with his news?[angry2]

Perhaps he needs a name change to Snaildollars so he can keep up with his news.[baaa]

    Hi Guys

Oh dear we lost. How sad.

However the try the Bees scored was when the Blacks were down to 14 men.

Ali was picked by the linesman who wasn’t sure who it was anyway and so Kaplan sent of Ali. He was as good as anyone else. I think the linesman was an Aussie.

Makes it hard when 14 are playing 17.

Now next week. The Boks 32 and the Blacks 23

    Hi Ayse

    You asked

I have seen properties in paraparaumu ranging from $130000 to $600000 do u know why there is such a big difference in pricing.

Well it is like a football stadium. You have corporate boxes and you have the terraces.Hence the difference in prices.

One for the massess and one for those who want a view of the sea.

Paraparaumu is about 50kms from Wellington. The road runs along the sea in many places and carries an awful lot of traffic at peak times.

The whole Kapiti Coast appears to be booming.

A RE from Harveys in Lower Hutt says that the area appears to be going the same way as Mount Maunganui.

Ummmmmm, who won the last two tests the All Blacks played.
You have only to win by 1 point as the All Blacks have found out to their cost on a number of occassions in the last few years.

As I have already said, the Bees won’t know wich way the Blacks went on Sat.

Ha HA Ha Tri-Nation winners AGAIN!!!!!!!

    Hi Guys

Don’t have Sky TV, so had to wait until this morning to hear the result. The Boks were leading when I went to bed last night.

This weekend’s game between the Blacks and the Bees will decide the Tri-Nations, so the Blacks by 8pts.

    Hi Thecrest

I tried that once before and they locked the post because there were too many losers.

    I’ll try again though

    how about 4,9,16,24,33,37

Just thinking…… I wonder who holds the Bledisloe Cup and the Tri Nations Trophy?

It wouldn’t be the All Blacks would it?

Congrats to George for 100 tests.
No NZer has done that yet but 2 Aussies have.
Sean Fitzy is the closest All Black with about 94 tests before his knees gave out.

    Hi Guys

[baaa]New Zealanders HAVE never liked Aussies ever since that clown Chappell told the other clown Chappell to bowl the last ball in a one dayer underarm so it couldn’t be hit for six for NZ to win.[baaa]

How under hand can you get.

[biggrin]Even the worms had to duck for cover.[biggrin]

    Hi Guys

Hullo from this great land of earthquakes and floods.[biggrin]

The Eastern Bay of Plenty is experiencing a major flood at the moment. Estimated losses will be in the 10s of millions. Main problem is that the dairy farmers are starting into calving at the moment.

A couple of 1000 people had to be evacuated but most are now back home.

If more info is required about earthquakes please look at http://www.geonet.org.nz/ which is updated by the minute.

Lots of earhquakes were felt over the last few days but the biggest was only about 5.3 on the Richter Scale.

Poor ole tasmaninvestor would have been in the thick of things at Ohope.
