When I worked it out we got 12 bits of paper numbered 1-12.

My wife chose a number that was heavier or lighter and then told me each time which way the scales would go.

Works every time!

It is easy in practice – hard to communicate!

It is more than that Derek.

It is about taxation effectiveness as well. A redraw is a new loan and the purpose of it will determine tax deductibility.

An offset doesn’t affect the loan and you can use it as you will.

There is a panel with three switches. One controls the table lamp next door. They all look identical and there is no way that you can see which switch activates the lamp until you leave the room and enter the next room.

The other two switches do nothing.
