    Hi, I believe they are quite high in Detroit however in saying that I’ve recently had to find a new tenant for my second property and only lost out 2 days of no rental income. Also for my first property, it only took around 2/3 weeks for a tenant to be found and for them to move in.

    Yes these are established properties and needed a bit of rehab but it was relatively inexpensive.

    Hi,

    I can see this thread has been inactive for a while now, but I’m curious to know if anyone successfully invested in the US back then and to know how their properties have performed?

    I purchased two properties in Detroit earlier this year and am glad I took the step, as the cashflow is great and the added bonus of capital gains in a rising market makes it worthwhile.
