Hardieglaze tile sheets – yep, good product. Be careful when cutting the sheets, sharp tools are the go. We use lami knife, guide and power saw.

Give some clearance round the sheet edge and use maxbond or similar to adhere to the studs. When installing fixtures n fittings over the sheet pre-drill all holes.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Misty,

We deal with this on sites regularly, me is a builder.
When you submit your BA, it will show how many plumbing points, usually min of 5. From there the council decide on the septic trench requirement. Minimum lengths, setbacks etc.

You need to have percolation tests, soil reports done to show the strata type for the site. This then allows the council to determine you septic specs.

With regard to the creek we find a minimum distanceof approx 50 metres but that is soooo variable.

    Costs – turnkey op – approx 5k

Time to get the approval from council – 3 days to 3 months

Time to instal – 1 day

Every septic instalation is different, site dependent, council regs, costs etc.

The time to instal is as quick as you can go yet the time the council takes to pass is way out of our control .

    Hope this helps

    Hiya,

Would also like to extend to all other budding/enthusiastic renovators that would like some pointers/advise, an invite to come and view first hand what goes on at the job site.

Drop us a line and come on in, there’s plenty to learn. I am still learning and have been doing this for a while.

    Regards

    Thanks Richard

Understand all of the said. No contact with the one Kevin Scambler today to discuss.

We use call options for our aquisitions and as a service to our sellers that we negotiate, we do require to shorten the paperwork without compromising the deal.

To date, the deeds we have are far to lengthy (30-50 pages) and I know that we can simplify all of this for all parties involved to understand, not just solicitor to solicitor talk.

    Appreciate the imput Richard
