    This is very interesting, a lot of people are saying that the property managers and tenants over there are a bit of a nightmare. Is everyone going for cheaps houses hence low socio economy groups living in the house therefore more risk of rent default??

    The area in Dallas I am looking into is probably the top 5 suburbs and in one of the high end suburbs close to the Airport and halfway between Fort Worth and Dallas. The purchase price is around $300k.

    Is there landlord insurance in the US and if so what does it cover??

    I can really find any information on this except that in share house leases that there can be Co-Tenancy, Head Tenant/Sub Tenant leases. I would I go about creating multiple leases on the same house.

    How does it work when someone leases out a granny flat, is it considered a separate dwelling?? What if the granny flat is under the main roof??

    DIY it…..

    Ross's Auctions in Maylands, they have website just google it.
    They auction everything -tiles, kitchens, spas etc

    Flatpak from Bunnings is a good way to go for Kitchen and Laundry renos

    How to Tile Pave etc. Balaga Tafe runs weekend course (2x Saturays) on how to tile and pave etc. so does House Base Expo in Subi. I did the Home base course (more theory little hands on) then did the Balaga tafe course (little theory more hands on) and have tiles both bathrooms, Kitchen and laundry.
