National Builder is a never ending story – Today I heard from a friend of mine who used national builders to build their property. National Builders Group or one of their builder took over one year to build the property and still the job is incomplete. Mr. Barry Suckling, he is planning a legal action against National Builders. I would say to innocent Australians please be careful of rogue builders – seek legal advice before preparing any contract work.
Anyway I have not even seen my plans and no sign of contract – it is over 10 weeks now – I feel that I have no control over my project.
It would be better of getting someone local of contact Master Builders Association and they can run a Registration of Interest and bulders would be able to provide a free quote instead of paying $750.00
If anyone need more information on this please let me know – i would post some more info in this forum.

CONNORBOY – I feel like you are salesperson acting for National Builders. Since you have emphasis that you got a contract in 14 days and during Christmas it takes 4 weeks but this is not mention anywhere in their advertisement about getting a contract in 4 weeks – looks like a person working for NBG would only know this.

I recently paid deposit to NGB and they promised me a contract in 14 days however no one called me for 2 weeks and then after calling them several times, someone came to my place and spoke to me about my project. Anyway the person came but just to hold the string so that I don’t withdraw and told me that he is here to introduce himeself then nothing happened for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks same person came back with some concept design and told me that the contract would be prepared in 4 months. Anyway I am sick and tired of them – I am at the stage to say good bye to them. Please be careful with them.
Just imagine if you sign contract you legally bind, you don’t have any choice.
