I give all of my tenants 2 weeks rent free over the christmas period. Always have and always will. This can allow them extra money for presents, additional time off work, a holiday or even just an extra large feast over christmas. In my experience that gesture alone is enough for them. Some continue to pay regardless of the free period to put themselves 4 weeks in advance ( which is beneficial in a crisis!). BUT I am also a renter myself and therefore may have a different view of my tenants. Good on you for being in Christmas preparation already 😀
