    Yes, I was only provided with a very poor quality scanned copy of handwritten scribble – which I can't understand a lot of.

    Shahin, thank you for your excellent suggestion to contact Dept of Fair Trading, which I'll do as soon as the public holidays are over.  I'm concerned that clients are paying anything from $225 to receive this level of service.

    It's just not right and of particular concern when an owner/investor is trying to act on termites in their property – so the pest report is paramount.

    Hi Jamie,

    Since I purchased the house in 2008, the market commenced dropping and the last year has been the worst by far as the growth is now in the negative.

    If I sell the house for the same figure I purchased it at, when I repay the loan and pay the agent fee I will be facing a loss of at least $33,000.

    I have enough funds to keep the property though with the growth going backwards, I'm finding it difficult to find reasons why I want to keep pouring money into it. I wanted to post to make sure I'm not missing something as the advice offered here has always been good.

    Thanks very much for your response.  I'm following up with both agencies and will let you know how I go. 

    Tracy, is there a particular person you'd recommend in the PM area of Ray White Deception Bay?

    Hi John,

    I went through this process two weeks ago and found and organised Paul Parker from BEST Building and Pest to inspect a property I was under contract on.  I needed Paul to do this urgently and asked if he could do the inspection on a Sunday and he had no problem with that.  Paul was great – he did a very detailed inspection and the tenant's children drove him mad, but he just got on with the job.  His number is 0439 386 488 and he's in Banyo (and helped me out at my property in Deception Bay where I also attended the inspection).
