You buy a 30-40K property… and if you have stable tenancy for most of the year, they pretty much pay off the entire house for you over time- so it’s a free property! It’s annoying that LJ Hooker have “by negotiation” as a sales technique for heaps of their properties- i reckon that is a BAD tactic. At least with ranges, you get some clue. Personally, i prefer the old “1 figure”- you know if you’re in the game or not- at least you have a ballpark figure.
