Hi Andy,

In addition to obtaining legal advice about a copyright, it may be worth speaking to the council regarding the extent to which the development can be amended and then relodged as an “amendment” to the existing DA rather than as a whole new DA.

Hi Johngee,

There’s always the middle option… if you’re in no immediate rush to cash-out, organise planning and building approvals for the duplex, and sell as ready-to-build.

There is slightly less risk than funding the building process, but potential for increased profit.
