    Jack,
I don’t know about you but after reading josh’s thread I’d suggest there are still many things you will need to be familiar with when investing in Emerald namely real estate agents, the right estates to deliver capital growth and solid rental return due to their street appeal etc. Josh seems to be the expert in this area. I’d just ring him and potentially even buy a house through him. I just bought one through him and its been the easiest process! He knows what’s remaining and the best estates to invest up there. I recommend. Really nice guy! He even flew down to Melb to meet me once I was ready!

    Hi Josh,

Still interested in investing into either Mackay or Gladstone. Can you talk me through which one will deliver for me the best opportunity for steady growth and protection with good solid rental return? Are both regions solid investments?

    Hi Josh,

I’ve been keenly reading through all of the threads and your updates, as well as doing some of my own research and I must say that the most interesting area for me constantly comes back to Gladstone. Although prices seem to have already spiked I am keen to get in still (and sooner rather than later). What can you offer to potential investors like me as I dont see any house and land packages under at least $520K for around 600 sqrs and although the rental returns are huge for that outlay I still want to make sure I am protected in terms rental securing and medium to long term capital growth potential. What do you have available to offer for an investor and how long before your stock is ready to buy…… if indeed you have any?

Thanks for the response and spending time providing me with some clarity on what your company can offer. In essence you are a 1 stop shop for investors from start to finish which I like being a first time potential investor. I’ve done some of my own research and although I like what Emerald and Mackay has to offer, I still feel like there may be some short to medium term investment opportunities there in Gladstone considering it seems to be on the top of most investor searches. Let me know what you might be able to offer there if indeed you have anything available (ie house and land packages under 470K that can deliver high growth and yield?

Dcwwood, I agree with your first comment Josh’s blog on Gladstone is the most detailed I’ve seen. He has informed us of some more to come and Mackay is one of those. I would wait to read that and pose some questions back to him. I’m lookig at either Emerald or Mackay at the moment to buy! Both look set for long term growth and aren’t just reliant on the mining boom for thsi growth. That’s what I like about them both!NSW is really long term growth and low yields!

    Josh,
I’m loving the info you are providing! Seems you are getting a heap of interested followers!
Am also close to buying and after reading a lot about the pitfalls of investing in areas that you are not 100 percent familiar with, can really get you burnt! I have only briefly had a look at your website but what exactly does your company provide that can reduce these concerns?
P.S keep going as I am keen to know what other areas you will be visiting.
    Kat
