Steve is offering ordinary Aussies, of all ages and incomes an opportunity to change their lives for the better IF they CHOOSE to. Sure there’s a cost if you want to be involved but Steve is taking up his own time to help others and that is a huge commitment on his behalf. [biggrin]

We should all be thankful there’s someone out there who is willing to lend a helping hand, to share his wisdom and experience as well as allow others to learn from his mistakes.

I found BankWest to be very helpful with financing as well as refinancing for our home loan as well as a second loan for a block of land. Everything was done efficiently and we were pleased with the customer service.

I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

    Hi Matt

I haven’t heard of any but it wouldnt be a bad idea to get one started. It shouldnt be too hard to get a few people interested.

Thank you for your feedback Megan and Arny.

The reason we are purchasing the block of land is that we have around $50 000 equity, we signed the contracts two years ago and have been awaiting council registration. The other reason is that we lose our $8000 deposit if we dont make the purchase. The land is only 200m from the beach, an hour and a half south of Cairns so I figure thats also a bonus.

The thing now i am not sure about is whether to wait till we finish building before i make my next purchase or go ahead and start purchasing positive cash flow properties immediately.
i dont want to waste any more time procrastinating.

Congratulations on your first property. That’s a fantastic accomplishment, especially at 21 and doing it on your own.

Hi all, this finding confidence forum is cool, its great to see all these people succeeding, however i dont even know if my problem is a lack of confidence, but than it could be without me even knowing it.
i’m 21 and i’ve been researching property investing since i was eighteen but was never in a position to do anything, however i didnt let that deter, stumbling upon Steve’s first book really opened up my mind and supported my own ideas about retiring early and being financially free at 30 not 70. and i knew property was the only thing that made sense to me.

i’m looking to start investing with my mum, we have access to over 100k in equity, i feel that i have all the knowledge i need to get started and i know i can do it but there’s something holding me back. i even have a great mortgage broker who understand my desire to retire early as well as a good accountant. i’m always looking for property on the net but than i never go inspect anything, i’ve seen some great opportunities but i always seem to let them go. i dont know how to take the first step? any ideas??? how did everyone else take that first step to their first investment property? was it difficult?
