What do you specifically get out of it? Cash flow analysis? Investment Strategy planning? etc

    Hi Shahin,

I'm probably not the best person to ask mate. But I do now my friend had a good experience.

    Hi JT7

Do you think i should be putting up my hourly rate up from 1 x latte per hour then ?

We will be coming to Sydney with the Property Know How Club so look forward to meeting as many members as we can over the year.

    Cheers

    Yours in Finance

    LOL Hellooooo Richard!

That is fantastic news mate…..of course, I would imagine a macaroon to compliment your latte would be most appropriate lol. However, I would qualify that in saying your expertise is priceless.

Very much looking forward to discussing a few things with you and Nigel…….

I have a fellow property investor friend who is actively participating on the forums who found it to be an excellent experience.

Nathan certainly has a lot of credibility and has achieved a great deal for someone so young. What I like about Nathan is that he always appears happy to share his experiences.

IMHO If mentoring is what you are after I don't think you can go too far wrong with Nathan although I'll qualify that statement and say I haven't used any of his services. Although I'd never say never…and as I say I do enjoy keeping up to date on his journey.

Ps. Pretty reasonable money for an hour.

Jack why not have a look at the Options market Jack instead of the Futures market.

Just find it doesn't give me so many grey hairs especially the US Options market with each Contract being only 100 shares.

    Cheers

    Yours in Finance

I'll certainly take your advice Richard and have a close look at Options.

I've been having some success with dummy futures contracts but certainly don't profess to be an expert.

Just like any other investment including property I'm deep into my due diligence and tracking the market at this stage.

I like the sound of the US Options though mate……

Hi Jack, it's good to see that you are making productive use of those sleepless nights! You've already gained a year on your portfolio goals! It's good to see your enthusiasm showing so clearly, mate. At the moment I can't define my goals so clearly, although I know I am very motivated to increase my property portfolio and ensure the financial security of my family's future,  but your goals and mindset are indeed inspirational. I think an uncomplicated way to express my goals is that I hope to be able to keep pace with you!

    Cheers Tony

    Hi Tony,

thankyou for your kind words mate….

I am certain 2013 is going to be an absolutely fantastic year for the both of us.

In relation to defining your goals…I think you just did. I don't think there is a more noble cause than to 'ensure the financial security of [your] family's future.'

Those words are an indelible indictment of the obvious strength of your character.

I'm very much looking forward to 'brainstorming' with you and Stu again in 2013…..

What an incredible journey this is….

    All very true…….

However, as hard as I try I simply can't do…or should I say, don't want to go without my flat white in the morning.

I justify this because I've recently changed coffee shops…..

My new coffee shop stocks current copies of the financial review and the Australian so I don't have to buy them myself.

    Happy days wink

    • Purchase more physical silver bullion.
    • Continue to educate myself on the futures markets.

    Jack

Spent the night thinking about this and I'm going to claim poetic license and make an amendment.

    • Purchase IP 6 & IP 7 before the end of 2013.
    • Set up for multiple IP acquisitions into 2014 and beyond…..

    Hi Richard,

Yes…probably the first and last time I ever disregard your advise mate….

I'm just hoping things change next election and that should take the pressure of me…

So, with that said, no covert emails to Sally suggesting just one more lol!

    Hi Tim….

    I like it mate!

It's absolutely fantastic developing and setting goals and then striving forwards to accomplish those goals.

Freedom…that is the very attainable 'holy grail' isn't it. It's what a lot of us are putting ourselves out there and striving for….

I find it incredibly liberating to have goals and a designed road map to achieve those goals. it makes it easy for me to wake up in the morning to go to work knowing that I'm one step closer to achieving my goals, one of which is 'financial freedom'. I shudder when I think back to a time before setting out on this journey when I was almost floating through life with no specific goal in mind. Having a defined strategy unleashes that focus and drive to achieve things most people only dream about.

Personally, I don't think you can in any way substitute the quality of service you get when you manage to find a MB you can establish a relationship with and trust implicitly.

Not only is a great MB there to structure your finances correctly but also supports and helps you to achieve your goals. The relationship should be personal because it will most likely develop over many years.

When you find an MB that answers your emails at stupid o'clock in the morning from anywhere in the world and actually listens to your crazy ideas, well…that's gold!

Cash back schemes are just another marketing ploy…pffft. Why settle for a Skoda when you can drive the Aston Martin wink
