    I know what you mean.

On one hand I want to get good deals and not be overcharged but on the other hand I think there are some good agents that are definitely worth it.

I have been looking at HousebuyersUSA and Top Rental Returns. Trouble is sometimes you don't know whether they are good or not until you try them and that is when you find out the truth.

HousebuyersUSA have received good reports from others on this forum and Top Rental Returns also seem to be good although dearer than others.

I am going to US in a couple of months so I can see for myself what the areas and properties are like.

I found out it is http://www.americanrealestateinvestments.com and they do rehab and property management as well.

They also do LLC setup and registration for $650.

Sounds pretty good, still got heaps of research and due diligence to do before I commit.

Looking forward to trip to US so I can check out areas properly.

Thanks for the info, it is very useful indeed.

Why pay buyers agents heaps when you can do it yourself.  They do rehab and manage properties as well.

I would like to know who the wholesalers are that you guys use.   I am going to US in a couple of months and would certainly prefer to put my money into rehab where necessary than lining buyers agents pockets.

My only concern would be finding decent people to do rehab and a decent property management agent although I think there was one mentioned in another post.

I was thinking of Atlanta and KC.

    That's great.

Does anyone have similar info on Atlanta. I am interested in finding out what are the good and bad areas.

    Hi Rick,

Thanks, it was your previous comments that pointed me towards them.

They said they were pleased to hear existing clients were recommending them.

I've also been looking into US property invest and US property purchase but haven't decided which one yet, although I am swaying towards housebuyersUSA as I like the fact one brother is here and the other is in US.

I have spoken to Matt and have organised to meet with him and his brother next week as both will be in town for a short period.  Great opportunity to talk to US and AUS partners at the same time.

good to see some positives. I am still looking and trying to decide on who to use. I know what you all mean about all the spruikers trying to push their own business.  I am looking at Atlanta and KC and possibly Texas but I received some emails from My US property trying to sell me some condos in florida  for $15k supposedly before they go to general database so I told them not to email me anymore.

I am going to USA on holiday in a couple of months so I am planning to have a look at some of the properties and neighbourhood while we are over there, see what they are like compared to photos.

Doing plenty of research in the meantime.

I asked them for info when I was starting to look at properties and they just keep emailing me property details without finding out anything about what I want or even talking to me.  I have now unsubscribed from their emails.

I have been looking into US market.  Good to read the posts from others who started earlier than me.  I was looking at My USA Property but I won't use them. I am looking at others, I notice their has been no mention of Splash Property Group who I believe is an Aus setup. I agree that ones with an office in US as a minimum would be a better option.

    Any comments
